Common Dental Problems and Solutions

While cosmetic dentistry produces dramatic, flashy results, general dentistry gets us through everyday problems with our teeth that can cause extreme discomfort or other problems. Dr. Gary Green provides general dentistry that can help you keep your teeth healthy in the long term.

Some common dental problems can cause major discomfort, but are often fairly easily dealt with. Among these are:

Gum disease – Also known as gingivitis, gum disease involves chronic inflammation of the gums. Bacteria involved in gum disease has been linked to cardiac problems, so treating gum disease is an important part of not only your dental health, but your health overall.
Dr. Green can help you practice thorough dental hygiene to keep your gums healthy, as well as evaluating the condition of your gums during your regular appointments and providing treatments if you’re developing issues.
Bad breath – Bad breath, or halitosis, can be a troubling and embarrassing situation. Often, though, halitosis can be traced to a problem with your dental health, such as gum disease or even oral cancer. kavin said...: Nice and interesting article about general dentistry. These are very common problems and can be overcome by simple solution. But keep in mind that don't neglect any type discomfort later that make a big problem. may be then we need cosmetic dentistry solution.

I've been doing it for about two weeks now and I don't see a difference. I put some baking soda in the lid, mix it with a small amount of water, brush, then rinse, then brush my teeth with normal toothpaste.
Am I doing something wrong, or am I expecting results too fast?
